SBCC in partnership with Matus Jewellery and Wedding Boutique visited Hagonoy, Bulacan on October 5 to distribute relief goods and to spread the message of God’s salvation to flood victims in the area. Members braved the waters and midday heat to pass on bags of clothes, potable water and instant goods.

News reports reveal that only large vehicles like military trucks and boats are allowed to enter some of the baranggays. Due to tropical storm Pedring, 26 baranggays in Hagonoy were submerged in water.  Most families have lived on their roof tops for days and have a difficult time purchasing basic commodity.  Read more »

As we continue to reach out and conquer our community for Christ, SBCC held a medical-dental mission (MDM) last March 3, 2011 at the SBCC compound in Lacson, Manila. With a goal to be catalysts of both spiritual and physical healing, 73 SBCC volunteers provided tooth extraction, medical check-up, distribution of free medicine and reading glasses, and Bible counseling and evangelism.

A total of 447 patients, ranging from babies to senior citizens, were accommodated during this whole-day event. As 272 of them were able to hear God’s Word through the counselors, 189 souls accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

Aloha! is New Hope Leeward‘s warm greeting to SBCC worshipers as they came to worship the Lord with us last February 27.

The last Sunday of each month is usually a special day for us at Sampaloc Bible Christian Community, it being SBCC’s Friends’ Sunday, an Evangelistic Sunday Service dedicated specifically to minister to members’ families and friends. This particular Friends’ Sunday, however, was doubly special as we celebrated it with our partners in ministry from Hawaii.

Pastor Mike Lwin shared a message of love and hope, encouraging each one to put our trust in God who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ever ask or imagine. “Just make yourself available,” Pastor Mike went on, “and God will do great and mighty things in that short little life that you have!” Read more »

January 24-30, 2011. “Win Souls, Make Disciples!” has been Sampaloc Bible Christian Community’s sweet, resounding battle cry–a vision that was passed on from the leaders to its members, and now, we pray and claim, to our circles of influence and to the rest of this city.

Everything boiled down to this week. The Sunday Worship Services, the 7-week Ignite Conference last September, the life-changing Men and Women’s Encounters last November-December, and the recently concluded Week of Fire Prayer and Fasting. December 22, 2010. The LORD is truly an awesome God! And we were there to witness it as over 100 families from Lacson and other communities around Sampaloc Bible Christian Community experienced the Lord’s gracious and loving kindness.

(Ed’s note: During the Christmas Caroling, SBCC gave gift stubs to random families, inviting them to a night of fellowship and evangelism. Come Dec 22, SBCC welcomed these families to our sanctuary where they were treated to a simple noche buena, a short program/play, and a noche buena loot that they can take home to enjoy, but mostly specially, a Christmas message of love and hope.)
